Privacy
tibo.dog records anonymous gameplay analytics to help poteto improve the game.
What's recorded
How each run goes: the difficulty, the time, the level, the upgrades offered and picked, chests and points of interest, boss fights, Story progress, and the run's final stats. Also the game version, the language, which settings you change (not what you change them to), your country, the kind of device and screen, frame times, and errors.
Also your browser's preferred language, as a two- or three-letter code such as fr, without the region or any other languages you set.
What's not recorded
No name, account, email or IP address. No id that follows you between visits. Each visit and each run gets a random number that is never stored on your device.
Your country comes from Cloudflare's data about the request. Your IP address is used only for that lookup and a rate limit, and is never stored.
Where it goes
Cloudflare stores it for us and deletes it after three months. It isn't sold or shared with anyone else.
Your choice
Turn Analytics off in the game's Settings, under Privacy, and the game stops sending anything right away.
In the EU and the EEA, Analytics stays off unless you turn it on.
Your requests
Because nothing links the data to you, we can't find or delete rows that belong to a particular person. Questions go to poteto at x.com/poteto.
In the EU and the EEA, while Analytics is on, Download my data in Settings, under Privacy, saves what the game has sent since the page loaded, and the same button at the end of a run saves that run. The game keeps this copy only in memory, so a reload clears it.
On your device
The game keeps your settings, your analytics choice and your game progress in your browser so they're there next time. Your progress and your setting values stay in your browser.
